Music and Movement in French
This 45-minute music class in French will include a combination of classic French
Comptines as well as original music. Children will get to participate using various instruments (shakers, maracas, tambourines, etc.) and will be led to follow movements, sing along, dance, and play games all throughout the class.
Each class will end with a short book, and of course, with the popular bubbles! Adults will be encouraged to participate, even if they do not speak French, and can expect to leave each class knowing a new French word.
The class will be led by Josephine Ancelle, a French singer-songwriter, who also holds a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
She has enjoyed teaching music to toddlers and preschoolers in Manhattan since 2012 and currently teaches music to preschoolers and elementary school students at the French American Academy in Jersey City as well.
Josephine is the mother of twin girls and of a two-year old boy. Playing music with young children and developing their musical ear is her passion!
And don't forget to check out other Mommy And Me class:
Arts And Crafts in Spanish
Luna de Papel is excited to offer its mommy & me classes this winter semester in collaboration with the French American Academy. We will be hosting our class at their beautiful campus located in Hoboken.
Let your child explore their creativity in a safe and exciting environment through arts and hand crafting activities. Your toddler will learn to play, share, and explore with others.
A fun class offering an opportunity to get out of your house and interact with other mothers, socialize and bond with your child.
Luna de Papel is a handcrafting art studio located in Jersey City. In a world where everyone is increasingly used to working with electronic devices, at Luna de Papel we take a step back and teach practical life skills that promote an appreciation for handcrafts.
